PTS Consulting (Ireland), a leading independent IT consultancy and Project Management practice has changed its name to Mapleport. The company, is based in Dublin from where it services a growing client base throughout the Republic and Northern Ireland.

“Having taken into account the future direction of the company in Ireland and our desire to offer our customers the best possible range of complementary IT management services, we now feel that the time is right to rebrand PTS,” says Brendan O’Raw, managing director, Mapleport. The rebranding to Mapleport is intended to highlight the company’s solutions management approach, as it grows its business, whilst continuing to offer best in class services to its valued customers.

Established in 2000 and formerly part of the PTS Consulting Group, Mapleport provides a range of services aimed at addressing the key IT management challenges encountered in organisations today. Among these are the delivery of complex projects, the creation of service organisations, the implementation of information security standards and the procurement and outsourcing of services.

Mapleport recognises that during the life cycle of most complex IT projects a blend of management services is required. “As an independent Irish-owned company, we bring a unique understanding and objectivity to meet our client’s needs,” says O’Raw. “We don’t sell products or have a vested interest in promoting one vendor over another. We simply offer independent, tailor-made ‘Solutions Management’, based on industry best practice and internationally recognised standards”

Mapleport has built an enviable list of clients, which includes eircom, Ulster Bank , ESB, Pioneer Investments, BT, Jacob Fruitfield Food Group and Bank of Ireland.
